Brightspeed Joins Dogwood Festival Foundation to Launch New Downtown Event Series: Dogwood Nights

The Dogwood Festival Foundation is excited to announce Brightspeed, the nation’s third-largest fiber builder, as the Presenting Sponsor of Dogwood Nights, a new monthly street dance series designed to bring music, movement, and community spirit to Downtown Fayetteville.

Beginning this August, residents and visitors are invited to gather on the second Saturday of each month for an evening of live entertainment, dancing, family activities, local vendors, and opportunities to connect with neighbors in the heart of the city.

Created as an extension of the Foundation's mission to bring people together through arts, culture, and community experiences, Dogwood Nights represents a new chapter for an organization best known for producing the annual Fayetteville Dogwood Festival.

"One of our goals has always been to create opportunities for people to gather, celebrate, and take pride in where they live," said Kaylynn Suarez, Executive Director of the Dogwood Festival Foundation. "The festival may be our signature event, but community doesn't happen only one weekend a year. Dogwood Nights allows us to continue creating those moments throughout the year while supporting our downtown businesses and local talent."

Each event will feature a unique theme and offer a welcoming atmosphere where families, friends, and visitors can enjoy an evening of entertainment at no cost. The series is expected to bring additional foot traffic downtown while providing a platform for local musicians, performers, nonprofits, and small businesses.

Brightspeed's support makes the series possible and demonstrates the company's commitment to investing in the communities it serves.

"Community is built through connection," said Sabrina Anderson, Local Marketing Manager for Brightspeed. "Whether that connection happens through technology, local businesses, or community events, we believe it matters. We are proud to partner with the Dogwood Festival Foundation on an initiative that encourages people to come together and celebrate Fayetteville."

For more than 44 years, the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival has been a tradition that brings hundreds of thousands of memories to residents and visitors alike. Through programs like Dogwood Nights, the Foundation continues its commitment to creating experiences that inspire civic pride, strengthen relationships, and showcase the very best of Fayetteville.
